Driving Directions around Midcoast
Warning: See warning on “Getting There: Driving Directions” about using Mapquest, Google Maps, Yahoo, etc to get directions. In the Hope/Lincolnville area, there are many small roads that appear to cut through on the online maps, and the directions will sometimes take you on these roads, but which actually are not passable. Watch out for Morey Hill Road, Beaver Lodge Road, and Church St in Hope. For driving around to the wedding event sites, please follow the directions on this website or your invitation inserts, to avoid dead ends.
from Camden … to Beaver Lodge (20 mins.)
• Take Route 1 South towards Rockport.
• Turn right on Route 90 at the light at Market Basket, go 3 miles.
• Turn right on Route 17 at a light, go about 5 miles.
• Turn right on Route 235/Buzzel Hill Road, go 1 ½ miles.
• Turn right on Beaver Lodge Road, there is a sign for the lodge. Continue until you see the lodge.
… to Lincolnville Community Church (20 mins.)
• Get on Route 52 North near the library. Take it for about 6 miles, past Lake Megunticook.
• Route 52 merges into Route 173, bear left.
• Go past Lincolnville General Store and the intersection with 235. Stay left on 173 at the next intersection, do not follow Route 52 to the right.
• The church will be on your left. There is parking both at the church and on the other side of the road by the Telephone Company.
… to Hatchet Mountain Farms (20 mins.)
• Turn right off Route 1 North across from the town green onto Route 105 North.
• Take 105 about 5 miles until the intersection with 235.
• Bear left on 235/105 and continue for 1 mile until Hope Corner.
• Turn left on 235 to go up Hatchet Mountain. At the top of the very long hill, the Hatchet Mountain Farms barn and house will be to the right. Go a little further and turn left into the field for parking.
from Cabins … to Beaver Lodge (12 mins.)
• Get on Route 235 heading west towards Union.
• Take it about 5 miles, past the 90 degree left-hand bend, and then turn left on Beaver Lodge Road, there is a sign for the lodge. Continue until you see the lodge.
… to Lincolnville Community Church (15 mins.)
• Take Route 235 east towards the coast. At Hope Corner, turn right to continue on 235 and 105.
• Turn left to follow 235 to Lincolnville where 105 splits off to Camden.
• Go about 3 miles on 235 until Lincolnville Center. Turn left on 52/173, and then stay left on 173 at the next intersection, do not follow Route 52 to the right.
• The church will be on your left. There is parking both at the church and on the other side of the road by the Telephone Company.
… to Hatchet Mountain Farms (2 mins.)
• Turn left on 235 to go up Hatchet Mountain. At the top of the very long hill, the Hatchet Mountain Farms barn and house will be to the right. Go a little further and turn left into the field for parking.
from Lincolnville Community Church to Hatchet Mountain Farms (15 mins.)
• Turn right out of the church parking lot onto 173.
• Turn right onto Route 235 at Petunia Pump.
• Take 235 about 3 miles; bear right at the intersection with 105 towards Hope.
• At Hope Corner, turn left on 235 to go up Hatchet Mountain. At the top of the very long hill, the Hatchet Mountain Farms barn and house will be to the right. Go a little further and turn left into the field for parking.
